Birthday Celebrations

It is a birthday of your child! We will happily celebrate in the class. Parents are welcome to come but not required. Please talk to the teacher several days before to arrange time if you would like to join in. Usually our celebrations start at 10:30am or 2:30pm and last for about 15 minutes. We ask parents to provide a poster timeline which will reflect yearly growth of their child from the first day till their birthday. Therefore poster may include pictures of your child when they were born, and then on their 1st, 2nd etc. birthday. The birthday child will hold the globe (our classroom Earth) and walk around the Sun, once for every year of their life. A birthday song will be sung, and birthday treats will be shared.
