The Chinese New Year is the most important holiday for the Chinese. On Thursday, we welcomed the New Year of the Sheep with the help of our wonderful Chinese parents. Children enjoyed traditional food, crafts, tried on Chinese finery as well as enjoyed a dance and a singing performance. Normally, the Chinese New Year celebration will last for around 15 days until the middle of the first month. Before the celebration, people will completely clean the house and display traditional New Year decorations. This festivity is the time for family reunion, which is the most important part of the Chinese New Year celebration.
